100g 100% undyed British Swaledale Aran knitting / rug wool Natural Cream Grey
100g ball of 100% pure British Swaledale wool, Aran thickness, 2-fold wool. Completely natural and undyed. I have tried to show the colour and thickness as accurately as possible in the photo. It looks accurate on my screen but all screens vary.
Brand new wool, ideal for knitting, crochet, weaving, rug making or craft projects. It is a 2-fold wool; it is made up of 2 strands lightly twisted together.
It has a rough, natural texture and is undyed ~ this is the natural Swaledale colour ~ cream with flecks of grey. Smells wonderfully 'sheepy'! (Smell disappears after the first gentle wash).
Apparently, it is great used for rug making too. And although I haven't tried it myself (a friend has) this wool can be dyed and takes the dye very well.
Swaledale wool is warm, hard wearing and non-fading. Balls are wound on wool winder, no ball bands/labels. Approximately 120m per 100g ball. Batch: 07-13
